RegenPGC Webinars
Overview
2025 brings new perennial groundcover learning opportunities… As we pursue our research efforts to understand how perennial ground covers can be established and maintained within existing corn and soybean production systems, we strive to understand how perennial groundcover increases cropping system complexity.
As we enter the fourth year of our five-year USDA-NIFA-funded research project, we are gaining more and more insight into managing the interaction between the primary crop and the perennial groundcover to ensure competitive yields with traditional crop production methods.
In 2025, we have reached a point where we are ready to more comprehensively share our research with webinars and other forums tailored to farmers, crop advisors, technical service providers, government agencies (NRCS/DNR), and other agricultural scientists eager to understand the possibilities and challenges of integrating perennial groundcovers into their row crop agriculture. We hope you will join us in events we host throughout the next 24 months.
2025 Lunch and Learn Webinar Series
Unlocking the Potential of Perennial Groundcovers
in Corn and Corn/Soybean Production Systems
This webinar series defined perennial groundcover systems, explained its potential benefits, provided insight into how to effectively manage these systems, and discussed work being undertaken to make these systems more robust for widespread adoption and implementation.
