Come out on June 7th to learn about perennial groundcover, a new approach to cover crops, in our first field day of the 2024 season, sponsored by the Black Hawk Soil and Water Conservation District.* We will meet at the Rick Rottinghaus Farm from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and lunch will be provided.
Our ag research project, “Regenerating America’s Working Landscapes to Enhance Nature Resources and Public Goods through Perennial Groundcover” (RegenPGC)*, looks at ways to make year-round groundcover on cropland commonplace and compatible with existing cropping systems.
